Sharmili Reddy headshotNKY Tribune – The City Council of Fort Mitchell last night approved the hiring of Sharmili Reddy as their new city administrator. The position had been vacant since the first of the year and after undergoing an extensive search, Ms. Reddy was selected from a group of highly qualified candidates. Sharmili Reddy has served for ten years as a planning manager at the Planning & Development Services of Kenton County (PDS) and will begin her new job with the city in May.

“On behalf of the City Council, we look forward to having Sharmili Reddy join our leadership staff and bring fresh perspective to our day-to-day operations,” said Mayor Jude Hehman. “She is a very detail-oriented professional, bringing all the skills needed to handle the new development project at the old Drawbridge site, along with management of our city departments and budget,” added Hehman. Sharmili Reddy will become the first woman to hold the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of Fort Mitchell.

Sharmili Reddy graduated from college in India and came to the United States to attend the University of Cincinnati where she received her Masters Degree in Community Planning.
